Softball Tournament
I played in a softball tournament Saturday for Relay for Life to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We had lots of fun and came out 3rd in the tourney! Here are a few pics. Our Realty company sponsored our team.

Catfish Festival 2007
We took Avery to the Catfish Festival a few weeks ago. She had fun and ate her weight in catfish (drowned in ketchup of course) We walked around the festival and marveled at the 'glorious absence of sophistication' present at the fest. Shae got a funnel cake that he'd been craving(gotta love that festival food!)
Afterwards we walked to my in-laws house and took some pictures in the front yard.

Avery's First Trip to the Dentist
Avery had her first trip to the dentist with mom. And the hygienists thought she was the cutest thing ever so they let her "help" them clean my teeth. We go to an awesome pediatric dentist and they make the dental cleaning fun for kids and help eliminate the anxiety and fears that go along with dental visits.
Avery sat on my lap in the chair while I got my teeth cleaned, she got to ride the chair up and down, got to press the buttons for the x-rays, got to hold "Mr Thirsty" and squirt water into my mouth (and on my dress, in my hair, on the floor, on they hygenists) She also got a good giggle that I had to wear a bib!
Then, somewhere along the way, one of the hygienists whipped out a camera and took her picture and printed me a copy. They also took a picture of her to hang in the hallway in the "Cavity-Free Club" gallery. She got several 'prizes' for being a good girl. She had the best time...She asked me several times today if we could go back to the dentist's office again.
I, on the other hand, didn't make out as well as Avery did. I have a cavity..blah! It's my 2nd one EVER so I guess I shouldn't complain..I got my first one at 18 and my second at 29...so one cavity every 11 years isn't too shabby...Nobody gave me a prize!
