Warning..toilet humor!
Avery and I were in the bathroom at Zea's Restaurant last Sunday. She's in one stall and I am in the other, because she insists on going in by herself nowadays because she is a BIG girl. I'm not complaining :)
"Mom!"
"What Avery?"
"Sometimes when I make Number 2's, when they plop in the toilet, it splashes on my butt" she sounds worried.
"It happens, baby" I am giggling.
I did help her clean herself and resume our dinner. It was hard to get the vision of the Number 2's out of my head. Kids say the darndest things :)

12 weeks preggo :) and an Avery update
My baby bump at 12 weeks. I am doing this pregnancy so different than when I was pregnant for Avery. With Avery, I never exercised and ate like a mad woman. I gained too much weight. This time I am religiously hitting the gym 3 days a week, sometimes 4 times and it's really helping. I'm still wearing my regular jeans with the help of a Bella Band...It's this cool band thingee that converts your regular pants to maternity pants. I am noticing that my ankles are already swelling! I was mega swollen for Avery so I guess there is nothing I can do to help that except watch my salt intake and drink lots of water.
Avery is very excited and she likes to kiss my belly. She's already planning to help me out lots with this baby. She's maturing so fast it blows my mind. She's learning to read at school and can read lots of words by sight and sound out most other words. Shae and I can no longer spell words out that we don't want her to hear because she can SOUND THEM OUT!! She was also named Student of the Month at her school for November and in my parent-teacher conference with her teacher, I found out that she is exceptionally smart(top her of class is what her teacher said) and very polite and courteous at school. I'm so proud of my big girl. Now, if only that politeness could be more consistant at home!!!!
