Fergaliciousness

Avery is getting quite tuned into pop music these days. We’ll be riding in the car and she’ll ask

“Mommy, what’s this song’s name?”



“It’s Beyonce’, baby”….Irreplaceable…..I answer, looking in my mirror to see her response.

“ I like this song, mommy...”


Then she starts singing…”TO THE LEFT…TO THE LEFT..”


My babysitter called this morning and said that Avery was trying to tell her something and she couldn’t understand what she was saying…so she was calling me for a translation…She hands Avery the phone…I hear this:

Giggle, giggle…..”MOMMY, I’M FERGALICIOUS” More giggling….

She hands the phone back to her sitter and then I have to explain what Fergaliciousness is to my babysitter….

There is something insanely hilarious about a 2 year old singing : “I'm Fergalicious …so delicious, My body stay vicious….I be up in the gym just working on my fitness……He's my witness (oooh wee)”

As she bobs her head up and down in her car seat and then yells at me:

“Mommy, DANCE! Like Avery!!!!”

Which of course, I do….We are silly girls, her and I….
