I'm teaching Avery to help clean up...to pick up after herself and even help me fold clothes. It's her chore to fold the washcloths when I wash towels. She likes helping out (right now anyway, I'm sure that will change!) and she's so proud of her little stack of washcloths....and I'm excited about finally having some free labor!

Her First Chore!
When we were little, my mom used to have a cleaning lady that cleaned her house...until me and my sister got old enough and then WE had to do chores around the house...me and my sister used to complain..we'd say things like "Mom, you only had kids so you could have FREE LABOR!" But hindsight being 20/20, I think both me and my sister benefited from doing chores and learning to help out...
