Some of Avery’s latest most impossible questions…

“Why do some bathrooms have bathtubs or showers and some just have a toilet?” (talking about half baths)

“Why is the moon broken sometimes? “ (talking about half and crescent moons)

“How do babies get in mommy’s bellies? Does the mommy swallow the baby?”

“Why do monkeys have arms?”


“Why does daddy have hair under his arms and you don’t?”

She’s also doing this thing where she walks around the house with her eyes closed…and tells us that WE can’t see HER since HER eyes are closed.

Since Avery’s had to get stiches last week when she fell as school, she is quick to respond “ I DON’T NEED STITCHES!” whenever she falls or bumps into something.

We are flying to Colorado next week for 8 days of snowy fun as a much needed vacation…but if you ask Avery where we are going, she will say ‘Rolocado’

Shae and I are calling it ROLOCADO! now as well.

I was drinking coffee earlier and Avery asked me if she could have some.

“No, baby, caffeine makes you grouchy”

“Is that why you are grouchy sometimes Mommy? Is that why you tell me ‘No’ sometimes? Maybe you need to stop drinking that coffee”

I think I literally had to hold myself up so I wouldn’t roll on the floor laughing…
