She was excited to see Santa and talk to him while we were standing in line. She told me that she was going to ask Santa for 'books.' This doesn't surprise me, she loves to be read to and 'read' books to me and Shae. Most of her reading is just what she's memorized, but it's adorable.
Anyway, she walks up to him and refuses to sit on his lap, she wanted to sit beside him. She spoke to him for a few minutes and then somewhat posed for the picture and then walked back to us.
This is what she said:
"That Santa SMELLED funny." She was wrinkling her nose in utter disgust.
So I ask her, "Why didn't you sit on his lap?"
"Mom, I can't sit on his lap, he's a STRANGER."
Who can argue with that?
