Avery and I were watching Cast Away on TV this weekend. Here are some of the quest ions that I had to answer…
“Why is that man talking to that ball?”
“Can that ball talk back?”
“Is that ball his friend? Mom, I have a ball and we are not friends…”
“Why is he making a boat out of sticks and not a boat like we have?”
“Where is his cell phone?”
“Why is his hair long? How come there are no ‘hair cutting people’ on his island?”
“Why did that plane crash? Our plane didn’t crash when we went to Disney or Colorado..”
“How come that man is happy for the fire? Daddy makes fire all the time and he doesn’t jump around like that?”
“Why doesn’t he take a bath? He looks all dirty and stinky..pee-yew…”
