When I started this blog, I made a promise to myself that I would "keep it real." If you've come here looking for just another "look how cute my child is" blog or "look how perfect my family is" blog, you're in the wrong place. There are too many blogs like that..I like to be real...and read REAL stories about raising kids and parenting....
I decided long ago that I would tell the good, the bad and the ugly..and of course the utterly embarassing stories of our lives.
That being said...here's an embarassing story to share. These are just too funny not to share!!!
I was on the toilet a few days ago...of course Avery was in there with me because I have zero privacy since becoming a mother.
Here's the convo:
"Mom! Are you doing #2?" Avery asks me
"No, Avery" truth is I am pee shy :)
"MOM...Do you ever get the 'SHARPS' she asks me
"What are the SHARPS?" I ask her, I'm already smiling because I can only imagine what she's about to say.
"You know, when you poop, and your poop has hard chunks in it and it feels sharp on your booty when it comes out..like sometimes when I eat corn" She informs me.
I am doubled over in laughter at this point, almost falling off the toilet and tears are streaming down my cheeks...

So to all you out there in the bloggesphere...share your crazy, insane stories...keep it real! Because none of us is convinced that you all don't have stories like this one no matter how beautiful a picture you like to paint of your family!!!!
