"Mom, Madeline cried at school this morning..." Avery told me when I picked her up from school yesterday afternoon.

" Aww...Did you tell her not to cry?" I asked

"Yes, I patted her back and told her that it was gonna be alright." she replied.

She's such a sweet girl..It brings tears to my eyes to think of her comforting another little girl at her school. I hope she never loses that compassion and empathy for others...
