Avery did so good on her first day of school so when I picked her up yesterday, I told her she could have a treat. I asked her what she wanted..this is what she said...
"I want an orange slush from Sonic and then I wanna go through the carwash.."
She loves going through the automatic carwash because it uses mutil-colored rainbow soap. She sits in the car and watches the colored foamy soap drip down the windows and giggles the entire time. Then she'll yell out "Look Mommy, blue soap..and now it's pink! "
I miss the simplicity of being a child and finding joy in things like that.
